I made the webcam feed into a single line in a spiral! You can play with the options to change the line colour, width and stroke-width smoothness. I’d love to see what you can do with it!
I like keeping an eye on design inspiration sites like ffffound. It’s interesting for a number of reasons – The work is all quite trendy and a lot of it is also nice, which is a bonus. I also like to look at the effects and decide if they could be automated – partly for fun, and partly because when a technique becomes a lot easier to apply, you can do a lot more with it – just look at the watercolor maps by Stamen Design.
